Too many things going on to watch the game live. Had to tape the game, but peaked at the final score.

Not one of KU's better teams but the Sooners will take it regardless.

Manek continues to struggle! And so did Reaves from the field today. Most of his points came at the line. But Harmon played a really good game, as did Harkless. I thought Kuath also played well but for some reason didn't touch the court the last 10+ minutes of the game. Not sure what that was all about. As Clint noted, not one of Kansas' better teams, but they were ranked which makes it a good win for the Sooners.
Manek needs to figure out what's wrong because if he was playing like he can this would be a pretty stout team. But right now he's just a body on the court.

We missed a golden opportunity to beat them in Allen this year-no fans. Not many anyway.

Hope they get their ship righted so we can count this as a 'quality win'. They seem to be in a tailspin, much like we were in Tre Young's year.

After the game Lon said it was a strategic move. He played Brady at the 5 so KU couldn’t play their big McCormack, who had been abusing us inside most of the game. By playing Brady instead of Kur McCormack couldn’t guard Brady at the 3-point line. Good move by Lon.

Thanks for the info. Funny, but I actually thought Kur was doing a very good job of causing problems for KU on the inside defensively. He seemed to alter numerous shots down low, and a couple of those were by McCormack. However, I can certainly understand McCormack not wanting to be out guarding Manek by the three-point line. That makes sense. And it obviously worked as the Sooners took home the W.

Maybe I shouldn't have used the word "abusing" us inside. I checked the box score and McCormack only had 9 total points. But, I think he was scoring often and easy enough that Lon thought it worth the risk to play Brady at the 5 so Self would have to play someone else to guard him at the 3-point line. It seemed to work out for the best.
