It appears we got a bonafide big time tackle and a very capable backup quarterback who I discovered in research can and has played d back back in his youth.Everyone covets a 6:00 ft dback who can fly. So is he a short term QB and future dback after next year?
The OU Daily said we now have 7 qb’s on campus . Rattler ,Williams Bolden , Walkon -Harris , Atkinson . Is Schafer coming back? Who else am I missing?
I heard we might get a transfer rb and a d end .What is everyone hearing ? Have a great weekend !! Remember it’s hard to be humble when you are a SOONER!! The major vowel sounds are OU !! Big time rumor: I heard BEVO is having a relationship with a goat from Oklahoma State. Does anyone have info on this?

Supposedly, this is just an attempt by Bevo to make his boyfriend Ralphie jealous. Then again, it wouldn't be the first time they've gone in for this sort of thing around Stillwater, so who knows?

I bet the Navy goat will be jealous when he sees the picture and a lover’s triangle develops. I heard Ralphie digs PAC 10 creatures especially Beavers..

That must have been OU, not OSU (MIke Stoops to UT).

BEVO is having a relationship with midget goat from OKIE STATE who is the mascot of the domino team. BEVO loves the BLACK and ORANGE team colors of OKIE STATE because they remind him of Halloween. He had a long term relationship with a goat from Texas Tech but was jilted because of his limited cognitive ability. News channels are reporting BEVO is a Longhorn with special needs. This summer BEVO will be attending special education classes with Coaches Sark and Herman as paras. Coach Brown is writing his IEP this week. BEVO has been told to get as far away from the rigors of football this summer and staying in Austin should solve that dilemma. I will keep everyone informed about the trials and tribulations of BEVO. We need to give BEVO lots of encouragement and praise.

Another BOOM!
Robert Congel, a former Aggie and Arizona center\guard combo. He started several games for Arizona. Backup or does he compete to replace Creed?

This is his third school? That seems like someone who won't be around very long but hopefully he is a big contributor.

It looks like we went from too few quarter backs to too many. I guess that is good?

Here's a little info on him.
Tennessee DB Lawrence announces transfer to OU
Lawrence, a Nashville Ensworth product, was the No. 81 prospect in the nation in the 247Sports Composite for the 2020 class. He picked the Vols over the likes of Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Florida, Georgia, LSU and Ohio State. The 6-foot-2, 200-pound Lawrence played in all 10 games as a freshman as a reserve defensive back and on special teams. He made eight tackles. Lawrence bounced around the secondary during the season. He worked at safety in the preseason, moved to cornerback early in the season and worked at nickelback.
And here's a little more:
One of Tennessee's more recent entires into the NCAA transfer portal is planning to continue his football career elsewhere. Defensive back Key Lawrence, who was the highest-ranked prospect in the top-10 2020 recruiting class signed by the Vols under Jeremy Pruitt, announced via Twitter on Monday he'd committed to Oklahoma, just three days after entering his name into the transfer portal on Friday. The Sooners already have landed one Tennessee transfer with offensive tackle Wanya Morris, a former five-star prospect, choosing Oklahoma over Texas A&M after leaving Tennessee.
Lawrence recorded eight tackles and a pass breakup while appearing in 10 games as a reserve defensive back and special-teams contributor during his freshman season in 2020. He was the fifth Tennessee player to enter the NCAA transfer portal last week after the Vols fired Pruitt amid an investigation into alleged NCAA infractions. Lawrence is the first of those five players to announce a transfer destination or commit to a new program.
The former Nashville Ensworth School standout would join a couple other mid-Tennessee products on Oklahoma's roster in cornerback Woodi Washington (out of Murfreesboro Oakland High School) and defensive lineman Reggie Grimes (out of Ravenwood High School in Brentwood).
The 6-foot-2, 200-pound Lawrence was arguably the crown jewel of Tennessee's 2020 class. The versatile defensive back was ranked the No. 81 overall player, the No. 6 safety prospect and No. 1 in-state recruit in the industry-generated 247Sports Composite for the 2020 class. Lawrence chose to play for his home-state program, committing to Tennessee in June 2019 over Miami, LSU, Oklahoma and others.
The Vols had visions of Lawrence contributing right away in their secondary this past season, but some factors led to him not experiencing the breakthrough into the rotation in the back end. Tennessee viewed Lawrence as the kind of versatile defender capable of playing all six spots in the secondary, but to start his career the plan was to play him at cornerback and he started working there after getting on campus last summer. Not long after that, Tennessee shifted him to safety in hopes of using him in its dime packages.
However, during preseason practices the Vols had most of their cornerbacks get caught up in contact-tracing quarantines and decided to move Lawrence back to cornerback just so they could get through practices despite being so shorthanded. Midway through the season, Lawrence then shifted to the Star position, a trouble spot for the Vols in 2020, during the first open date at the end of October. Despite getting some extra weeks to work at the spot when the Vols had games postponed, Lawrence couldn't crack the starting lineup.
Lawrence perhaps his most extensive action of the season in the finale against Texas A&M and recorded a career-best four tackles against the Aggies. He had two tackles apiece against Alabama and Vanderbilt, broke up a fourth-down pass against the Commodores and also got a handful of snaps in the fourth quarter of the games against Kentucky, Arkansas and Georgia. Though he didn't play as much as he and Tennessee hoped on defense, Lawrence was a fixture on multiple special teams units.Last edited on Tue Jan 26th, 2021 04:33 am by Triple Option

It looks like a good pick up for us. I usually have reservations about picking up an unhappy kid because of a lack of playing time at a lesser University than OU, but Tennessee is a sinking ship and he played at...yeah...Tennessee vs the big kids. He can help us. Welcome, kid. Light it up!
