When Grant decided to return to football, was he eligible to return to OU? I have read conflicting reports. One report says that OU did not allow him to return and the other that the NCAA would not allow him to return to the school that he retired from. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Part of it I think is if he retired from OU because of concussions.. then he's a huge liability if OU allows him to return and he gets hurt. Don't know the NCAA rules, but from a medical liability standpoint it would be big NO GO for OU. If he gets hurt or dies at some other program then they can claim some ignorance. OU can't.
