Figured Perkins would leave.
I think the success of the defense recently can be directly attributed to the Defensive line. We have depth there now. We were able to sub at will and not realize any major drop off in performance. While Perkins was arguably the best of the lot (Perrion?), we have the depth at DL to be able to cover his loss.
I wish hi luck and will pull for him.
Anyone notice Clemson lost a couple of their D-linemen to the portal? They have cranked out a lot of NFL D Lineman. The reason their defenses have been so successful. From the stats of the two guys, they were contributors, not bench warmers. Makes me wonder if something is going on over there.
