| Congrats to him. I will miss him as an individual player, but I am thankful this will shake up the offensive line unit. This unit never got it going cohesively on a consistent basis and I believe next year's offensive line will perform better as a unit with this change.

I liked him better than Mordicia sp? But when I saw him in the 4th out there he looked like an elf in the back field. Riley will find another to play third banana like he and mordicia. Some body out there knows two years under Riley will get you a chance to play elsewhere

Morris would be perfect for UCF or many other teams , he would waste his career at OU like Schafer did.....

| Schaeffer came from Canadian a very very small school. He came to OU and walked on for one reason. In 5-10 years expect him to be the next LR.

Anyone know if the covid rule for seniors works for Schaffer?
It would be nice to have him one more year just to have a 3rd qb in case.
Or, Riley will need to bring in another one ... maybe a JUCO QB.

It is not just for seniors and not for scholarships.
All current players have 6 years to play 4, rather than 5 years to play 4.
Soonersports.com says he redshirted in 2016, played in one game in 2017, played one game in 2018, did not play in 2019. So, if he wants to come back, it looks like he would be eligible.

Thankfully, OU has 3 comforting non-conference games for the new offensive line and hopefully Kansas will be one of the two conference games before Texas. I'm looking forward to a new group!
My dream for OU is 330 passing yards per game, 200 rushing yards per game and the defense building on this year. If then can do that, I think they will be in prime position to finally at least get that first playoff win. Hopefully has a 1, 2 or 3 seed.
