I hate to see Creed go but he needs too. Many thanks to him for his years of service and also playing last night. A likely first round guy who didn’t opt out. Nice to see!

Damn. With all his talk about next year contending for the title, I thought he might stay.

I was hoping, but he will probably be a first round pick. I'm glad that he stayed for this year, and proud of him for not "opting out". He's a team first dude! Best of luck!

Congrats to him. I will miss him as an individual player, but I am thankful this will shake up the offensive line unit. This unit never got it going cohesively on a consistent basis and I believe next year's offensive line will perform better as a unit with this change.

I want to thank Coach Riley, the staff and the University of Oklahoma for the opportunity they gave me. After much thought, prayer and discussion with my family, I have decided to leave OU. I will forever be indebted to this great program. Thank you and God Bless.

I liked him better than Mordicia sp? But when I saw him in the 4th out there he looked like an elf in the back field. Riley will find another to play third banana like he and mordicia. Some body out there knows two years under Riley will get you a chance to play elsewhere

Creed was due for a payday....
Morris would be perfect for UCF or many other teams , he would waste his career at OU like Schafer did.....

Schaeffer came from Canadian a very very small school. He came to OU and walked on for one reason. In 5-10 years expect him to be the next LR.

Sure I can see that, going for a coaching career.....but the honest truth is he is a natural stand up pocket passer, his throwing motion is perfect....

These days you need to be a scrambler too, I guess....

Anyone know if the covid rule for seniors works for Schaffer?

It would be nice to have him one more year just to have a 3rd qb in case.

Or, Riley will need to bring in another one ... maybe a JUCO QB.

It is not just for seniors and not for scholarships.
All current players have 6 years to play 4, rather than 5 years to play 4.

Soonersports.com says he redshirted in 2016, played in one game in 2017, played one game in 2018, did not play in 2019. So, if he wants to come back, it looks like he would be eligible.

Wonder if they would call 6th year seniors Covid RS Seniors?

Would be great if Schaffer can play next year.

There is a JC QB listed on the OU roster:: Colt Atkinson 6’ from Trinity CC. Site shows he did get in Vs OSU in 2020. Redshirt Jr.

Something to keep in mind for the rest, NFL hasn’t given out draft grades yet and some players might be waiting for that.

Thankfully, OU has 3 comforting non-conference games for the new offensive line and hopefully Kansas will be one of the two conference games before Texas. I'm looking forward to a new group!

My dream for OU is 330 passing yards per game, 200 rushing yards per game and the defense building on this year. If then can do that, I think they will be in prime position to finally at least get that first playoff win. Hopefully has a 1, 2 or 3 seed.

OU played for and almost won an NC with Kenyan Jones and Renaldo Works. They will be fine with the current group.
