I realize I haven't walked in the same shoes that others have, but I also can't see how the racial problems of 50 years ago are justification for some of what we see today. (Not that anyone is saying they're protesting because of the way things were 50 years ago, but Tramel seems to equate the protests then with those today.)

If there are current problems, then deal with those actual problems in a reasonable way. So much of what we see going on now as protests and rioting seems to only heighten tensions, without offering any real solutions that might make things better.
