Espn just announce the Ivy League will not have fall sports. I’ve got a bad feeling we are not going to have Sooner football This year. I’m not sure how it’s going to work. Example not jinxing anything here but letS say starting Rotor-back(fake name as not to jinx anything) gets sick He sits out two weeks? I don’t see a way around that.

Its sure feels that way but before you panic.................Realize that Ivy League Schools are a Hell of a less reliant on Football Income Than any other League in the World. The "Real" College Football world will not hand over the Keys to 2020 that easily. And once again " Thank Your Friendly Democrat for all This Chit"!!!!!!!!!!!!

If even one player or coach gets seriously ill or dies, they will shut the season down so fast it will make your head spin.

Yes and the PAC 12 and ACC are expected to follow suit. This is just another step down the road to no football at all. And it makes no sense. Are Iowa’s players less likely to get the virus in a game against Ohio State than they would be in a game against Iowa State?

Maybe an attempt at keeping teams (and fans) in their same region? If so, in the interest of safety, I propose, we "loan" out WV to the ACC for a season or two. And Notre Dame can go to the BIG for a season or two. And Nebraska can play in the Big 12 for a season or two.

In the interest of safety...

I don't see it happening. The man made China Virus is just too easy to contract and those are large groupings that will in turn, impact others that weren't in those large groupings. This has been on messed up year.

I hope we have at least one non-conference game. Texas is our 2nd conference opponent and I want Rattler to have as many snaps as possible going into that game.

it would be a scheduling nightmare I realize but I heard them talking about something similiar on the radio, why not start the season early maybe around August 20th or so and have 2 weeks between games? this way quarantined players would miss very few games. you would need to start practice fairly soon to be ready and maybe cut out a non conference game or go a little later into the winter or something to make it work.

or this talk of spring ball, instead of a full season of spring football 5 games 2 weeks apart in the fall and 5 games 2 weeks apart early spring - late winter... kind of a radical approach I know but the financial hit they will take of no football may call for something radical.

Here’s the facts, recent “deaths” are being caught up from over 4 weeks ago. The trend is still down. 65% of deaths reported this week are old deaths. MSM is not reporting this, to help keep country scared and locked down.
