...to have athlete's like Clemson has on their Defense.(sigh)

Remember when we did? 1956. 1974, 1985. Among others of course.

...yeah I hear you. But, that's history now and in all honesty, A few calls wouldn't have helped the SOONERS!
These are the two best teams in the country.
We'll know who "the best" is soon.

I am for LSU. I hate Clemson more. Clemson being a dynasty - a non SEC team with the ousted OU DC - is a slap to OU. Coach O is better than Dabo. But goah Clemson looks good. Should be a classic.

Me too. With the way Clemson has recruited and the ACC being weak, the 47 is threatened and the way things are going thanks to Bob Stoops, Clemson may pass OU in national titles within this decade.

...me either. Can't stand both of 'em.
But, since I dislike both, decided I'd keep my heart/emotions out of it and determine w/my head which was a better team.
I think Clemson is.
Put my money where my mouth is.
Good game so far.

Great. OU even has farther to go than we thought. Yay. Maybe time to get rid of Choir Boy Castiglione and get an AD that's wants to win at not all, but most costs. The Pasta Gate crap has to go.

Great defensive line always beats a great offensive line. See OU vs. Florida in 2008. OU has got to start buying DTs.

Clemson's punter on those first two possessions is a huge reason this game is close as it is.

I don't feel better about OU's offense 2 weeks ago, but I feel a LOT better about the defense.

LSU’s offense is rolling. Clemson is in a bit of trouble now. They absolutely MUST get a stop on LSU’s first possession of the second half or this could get ugly

LSU just has the better QB hands down. I don't like him but he is good.

He has some great weapons too. Those receivers are the real deal.

The scary thing is LSU's receivers aren't even in the same zip code as OU's upcoming receiving corps. It's not recruiting hype, it's reality.

LSU has 35 points and 430 yards and the 3rd quarter isn't even over yet. Given Grinch was without almost half of the defense, yeah, he gets a pass for the Peach Bowl performance.
