I hope LSU wins big. That will make me feel better not about OU losing to LSU, but "how" they lost to LSU. If LSU were to say beat Clemson by a few TDs or more, then then margin of loss becomes far more understanding and acceptable given that OU was in a rebuilding year.

I have no idea how this game will go down. Clemson's defense has been stout, but LSU's offense has been awesome and Clemson's offense has been down from prior years going back to pre-Deshaun Watson.

I can't stand LSU, can't stand the SEC Hype, but I love our record win streak of 47 more... so go LSU.

Looking at the numbers I put together before the bowl season, Clemson should win this game. However, those same numbers predicted an tOSU win and a close OU-LSU game. One thing I did notice about those numbers.....LSU seemed to get better and better every single game after the Alabama win. They didn't have the up and down performances that every other team had, including Clemson and tOSU. So, it's possible that LSU has developed into a beast of team that is way, way better than every one else right now.

I'll be cheering for a Clemson loss.

Let's add score predictions, too.
I've got LSU by double digits - 36-26.

Clemson by 3. 38-35

Remember, Lawrence is a great q-b also. Some poster mentioned he sit most of the 4th Q in many of Clemson's blow out victories, therefore the lack of Burrow type stats. Don't know if that's true, but it sounds good to me. :dude:

I would pick Clemson on a TRUE neutral field, but this is basically a home game for LSU so I am picking LSU 42-38. Hope I am wrong. Absolutely cannot stand LSU and would not root for them even if Clemson was sitting on 46 straight wins right now.

Sans last season, Alabama always put up good points against Clemson in their previous match-ups and this LSU offense is ridiculous in every aspect and Hyphen will be more healthy.

With Clemson winning it all last season, I am going with the more hungry team. LSU, 48, Clemson 34 and yes, that will make me feel better about what happened last weekend. It will show that OU isn't as far as the scoreboard suggested, but just how good LSU is and how really good LSU was on that particular day.

Yelp, and with that prediction you just won the survivor contest, IMO.

SD and Humble ran out of gas (picks) in the final turn of that contest. You had one gallon left (pick) whether you won it to the finish line or not. JMO...:dude:

I won't be rooting for LSU, I just hope they win. I won't even watch the game and wish both recruiting violation programs the worst of luck. ;)

You DO Hate LSU!
I couldn't go that far, but I think Clemson wins a close football game.
Think Lawrence out plays the Heisman qb.
Clemson is a snarling dog.

Clemson by a TD. Whichever team has the fewer turnovers wins the game.

Oh, so now LSU's receivers are going to drop passes despite having both hands on the ball.

Ironic that they called LSU for a lineman illegally downfield. After it happened about 5 times in the Peach Bowl and wasn’t called once
