The issue of posting copywrite material has raised it's head over the last couple of days.
I am curious as to how many people have subscriptions to the local Oklahoma media.
Just click on the papers you subscribe to so we will have some information.

There is not a "none" option, or that is what I would vote.
I subscribed to the FTW Star-Telegram for probably 20 years or more, but several years back I realized that almost all of the news that I read in the morning paper I had seen online the night before. I cancelled my annual subscription when it ran out and haven't missed it.

Zilch for me. I used to get the Tulsa World and Oklahoma and USA Today back in the 90s, but not any more. My parents were also several decade subscribers to the Tulsa World until it got liberal in recent years and they drop kicked it.

I still get the Oklahoman as I get a reduced rate -
they tried to shaft me a few years ago and I finally got a VP to check and acknowledge the error-I will continue as long as I get it at that rate.
Sports schedule on TV, my wife for the crossword, comics are all move convenient on paper, but not if you have to pay full price

I should have put in an option for "none of the above" just didn't think about that.
The reason I posted this is to try to figure out a way to post OU sports news and not get into the mess of copywrite etc material.

None, and since its not an option you will never know the amount of what I suspect is the majority answer.
As a rule if you do a few paragraphs and link the source its normally fine but there is no exact amount or percent listed as rule.

Firmly in the ‘none’ category here.
In fact, I won’t even click on the links when posted here. I refuse to give them any traffic. Got sick of their very apparent anti-OU campaigns over the years.
Do not need or want them.

None. And I don't have cable either. All you need nowadays is the net/www/666

nor the Houston Chronicle
Read some of these online but have no paid subscription
Even if it isn't a paid site there may be some copyright issues to copy and paste an article, they want their clicks

Time has changed, & news print is almost dead. Papers are smaller & most rely on the net for news.

A lot of good articles by newspaper writers working for the Norman Transcript, Oklahoman, and Tulsa World. The online sites that do a good job too often go to pay sites-IE TFB.
So lets keep up the competition so the charges are kept out as long as possible.

...can't even remember how long it's been since I last had a subscription to a newspaper. Buy the Oklahoman every Monday for the Opening Line I use for Snarling Dogs, but considering going to the USA Today line for that.
Newsprint is all but dead!

None...
Until about 2 years ago I had subscribed to the DOK since 1971.
But their years of antagonistic attitude toward OU while often looking the other way on osu issues caused me to stop taking that paper....I also found Tramel to be particularly caustic to the OU fan base.
Take the average sports journalist away from sports and I don’t see many as all that intelligence.

I was going to ask the very same thing. Maybe it's something the old timers used in outhouses. Oh wait.. I AM an old timer!
