...historically one of the most challenging tracks of the year played at one of the most beautiful courses in the world.

Have only been able to catch it after I get home from work @ 6:00 pm. (Little later this evening, because I took China Red to her 2nd Physical Therapy session. She's doing great, working at it, bless her heart. I'm hopeful she can ditch the walker by the end of June.)

My man Brooks Koepka (looking for a three-peat which has only been done once before more than a century ago.) is lurking like a snake in the weeds!

Here's the standings after two rounds.

Justin Rose-7

Rory McElroy-6

Louis O0sthuizen-6

Aaron Wise-5

Gary Woodland-5

Graeme McDowell-4

Brooks Koepka-4

Tiger's at EVEN par.

Ought to be a good weekend of golf!

Going to drive down with my Pops and 2 little brothers to Marietta and play at Falconhead tomorrow.
30 year tradition for the patriarch of our clan. 85 years young, and he shot his age at Lincoln East Wednesday.

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY TO ANY ALL ON SOONER TIMES MB!

...after 3 rounds of play the leaderboard standings look like this,

Gary Woodland-11

Justin Rose-10

Brooks Koepka-7

Chez Reavie-7

Louis Oosthuizen-7

Rory McElroy-6

Matt Kuchar-5

These are the likely suspects for emerging as the winner tomorrow. Woodland has never won when leading after 3 rounds. Doesn't mean he won't tomorrow.
Hoping Koepka's recent success in Majors, helps him deal with the pressure and allows him to become the 1st American EVER to win 3 Straight U.S. Opens.

Expect some great golf.

I want Brooks to complete the 3sweep..........but don't count Justin Rose out.

...WB, I wouldn't count any of the 7 listed as out.

Rose is as steady as a granite countertop. Only think I saw him miss 1 putt yesterday.

Woodland is 0-8 when leading after 54 holes so far in his career. But, he seems dialed in.

Koepka's done it before, coming from behind to win a major. Like his chances.

Down the stretch they come!

...another birdie for Brooks! Pulls to within one stroke of the leader Woodland. Gonna be a battle to the 18th.

...Koepka falls just short of a historic 3-peat @ the U.S. Open. Had his chances. Missed 2 birdie putts.

Hats off to Gary Woodland. He could feel Koepka's hot breath on his neck, but didn't wilt, didn't choke.

This will change his life and career!

So great to witness Woodland hugging his Father after the victory.

Male or female, everyone knows that in your whole life no one will ever love you like mama.

But, most also understand that no one is as important TO THE TRAJECTORY OF YOUR LIFE as Dad.

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!

My family was out of town and I watched a lot of golf. Great tournament. I wish they'd have made the track a little tougher. Woodland was impressive as was Koepka. They reminded me of Bozworth and Migliazo. Brooks is a little thicker but they both moved like linebackers.
