Very disappointing. Especially after yesterday and the team was disappointed in their play on offense. They were worse today. This group has never played well as a favorite. 2016 and 2017 they weren’t favorites. Last year and this year, they are.

Does anyone know the correct station, and the time they will play?

The game has already started and it's on ESPN News. DirecTV channel 207.

I'd rather see that than taking all those called strikes.

In case you lost it, the game is now on ESPNU. OU leads 1 - 0.

Unneeded insurance, as it turns out.  Juarez comes through with a four-hit shutout, OU wins 2-0!

I just found out my little brothers wife\husband's niece is the starting catcher for Northwestern. I'm pulling for them.

Losing a game ending the winning streak might turn out to be a good thing for this team. It takes some of the pressure off. Likely adjusts some attitudes. In the long run it might get their minds more focused on the real goal which is the real goal.

I don't think anyone ought to be down in the tooth because of the loss to Wisconsin. I'm actually kind of glad it happened.

Seven teams had to win a second game facing elimination which is a record. I agree that it might be a good thing so they can forget about the streaks and just play ball.

I'm still too irritated to post, and I don't like taking a loss for no good reason.  We should have won these games by at least 6--0.

Relax. The streak had become an unnecessary drag on the players. I coached a team once that won 15 straight. You could feel the tension from a mile away. We lost a semi-important game. But after that, the pressure was off and we went through the post-season dominating everybody.

These ladies have a good head on their shoulders. They couldn't have had a streak that long without that. I'm willing to bet that they'll play a lot looser now. And with their talent, that's a dangerous thing for any opponent.

Your irritated? Last time I checked these kids are 52 - 3 for the season. You should be elated that this team won 52 games. That is a 95% winning record.

You should be irritated with the women's BB record of the last few years. That is the head scratchier.

Now, this post is the type of post I was hoping to avoid.  Confrontal,, condemning.

You have no idea why I might be irritated.

I don't know what "Confrontal" means. Many you should have better stated the reason you were irritated. You said you didn't like to take a loss for no good reason and that OU should have won all the games 6 - 0.

So, not being a mind reader I just took your words for the reason you were irritated. And, I don't see a 52 - 3 season record and still in the playoffs gives us much to be irritated.

:lol::lol:

Confrontational means that I had misspelled it, as I often do in haste when typing, and rarely correct, just like you probably know the difference between there, their, and they're which you used inappropriately in the first word of your post.

Maybe, the idea is to wait until I say I am ready to expound a reason before being confrontational.  When I said that I wasn't ready to discuss a reason, it might have been a clue that what I had said wasn't the reason.
