I really like the way the Sooners are attacking. When Kansas throws low they are smashing these pitches so hard they are to hot to handle. In some cases giving unfair errors to the defense when it should have been ruled a hit
You can't go to the plate thinking that you're going to swing at every strike. Your chances of being a good hitter are greatly reduced if you do that. You're just playing into the pitcher's strength.
You have to be selective. With less than 2 strikes, you have to be looking for a certain area, or a certain pitch, or both. Part of that is scouting the opposing pitcher. Part of that is knowing your strengths and weaknesses.
You still do that with 2 strikes, but you also have to be able to foul off any strike that isn't what you're looking for.
