Sydney is currently in the lead (16) but Clifton and Green are right behind her.

Green seems to be picking up steam so I am betting on her

Edit - HR totoals when this poll started were

Romero - 15
Clifton - 12
Green - 12
Alo - 7

I think Alo will catch Clifton and Green.  In the past, she could hit them against good teams.  Green seems to be the type that kills it against weak opposition.  Only one of her home runs was against a team in the top fifty.  Romero has hit them in the CWS.

:ou: Assuming that Alo is still on the team. She is 9 behind Romero. If the Sooners make it to the CWS championship series there are approximately 20 something games left. For Alo to catch Romero, Alo would have to hit home runs in almost 50% of the remaining games (possible) and Romero who has been on fire most of the season would have to dry up completely (unlikely) .My vote goes to Romero

Money still on Romero but Green seems like a future 20 homerun potential.

:ou:: I agree on Green. I am excited about her potential. We are going to need her to maintain her current production down the stretch especially if we minus Alo

Those number on the poll seem high. I was thinking she had 9 coming into Kansas and hit 3 for a total of 12. Romero with 15 and Clifton with 12. I could be wrong though.

I think you are right. I think that it is 15-12-12

The stats page that I looked at had already included today’s HRs in their stats - http://stats.ncaa.org/team/522/stats/14800

:ou: :
Green will more than likely get 20 home runs. She only needs 6 more. She could get that many before post season
starts.

Alo up to 12. She has pulled even with Clifton. I think Syd might be able to hear that the footsteps back behind her are getting closer

Clifton and Aviu both hit HRs today

I have only been tracking the leaders. I think at this point The winner will have to hit 22-25 HRs to win the contest

Romero -16
Clifton- 13
Green - 13
Alo -12

I am currently lean towards Alo winning

There are only three games left in the regular season, against OSU.
Conference tournament
Regional
Super-regional
CWS

I'm torn between Romero and Alo because there are so few games left.
