I vote for the Bud Light ad that morphed into a Game of Thrones ad. At least it showed some imagination and catches you off guard.

In my view, Super Bowl ads haven't been interesting in about 15-20 years, but continue to live on in due to the "branding" they established when truly pioneering marketing was done back then.

The bud light / game of thrones was great. The only other notable amusing was the Stella Artois with ‘the dude’

The rest were meh.

I guessing I wasn’t the target audience for the halftime show. That was a mess

The half-time show would have been better served doing a re-run of a past half-time show that was actually good if there is such a thing. Maroon 5 was, is and will continue to be terrible. I have never understood their existence.

I'm smart. I took Bruno for a walk during half time. I figured out that when they have a group I have never heard of I have no reason to watch.

Is Bruno carrying on the miniature schnauzer legacy or is he a different breed?

Considering the advertisers paid $5,000,000 for a 30 second spot, the ads need to be able to catch and hold the people's attention.  Except for a few notable exceptions, they failed horribly.   Are the advertisers too concerned about offending someone more than they are with sales?  It seems that way to me.

I thought the Audi commercial was pretty good. Ya know...the guy in the near death experience about to drive away "into the light" with his new electric Audi his gramps gave him....only to be brought back to his 'meh' existence in an office cubicle. One of his office mates saved him with the Heimlich. That one got a giggle out of me.

I really like the first bud light corn syrup commercial where they went to other kingdoms. The other corn syrup commercials were stupid though but I do think focusing on the corn syrup is a clever market strategy that will work for them. The beer nerd in me could go on and on about the stupidity of it, but the general audience will eat it up.

The Stella commercial was pretty good.

The turbotax commercial where the robo child laughs when it’s supposed to cry had me laughing pretty hard.

The only commercial I liked was the Amazon one with Harrison Ford.

The corn syrup offended the vegans and corn lobby.

The elevator stopping on the Vegan Dinner floor offended the Vegan community.

My guess is these two spots will be the only ones remembered. ( and not long)

What happened to the Clydesdales and the funny Dorito spots? :big confused:
