South Florida vs. TT

3-3 late 1st. Charlie Strong vs. Kliff Kingsburry.

Not a riveting match-up, but it's better than what we'll have on TV in about three weeks....:(

Every single bowl game I've tried to watch this year has been complete blowouts. This one looks like they are pretty well matched up. Tech just scored TD.

I like the TT QB. He's had a long journey. Seems like a solid dude.

They are.

This is what concerns me the most about the OU game. TT looks out of synch on offense. I hate these LONG layoffs with offenses like Oklahoma's.

I agree. TFB or Rick had a post about Lincoln running the first team O against the first team D in bowl practices. He was trying to change things done in the past to keep us sharp .

Better start for TT. Charlie could be 1-3 vs. TT by the end of the day.

I don't really care either way. I'm not a huge TT fan, and I have zero conference loyalty...:D

TT offense looks quite out of sync.

I hope our bowl practices get us sharp for the bowl game and we don't have to survive a half in order to get our timing down.

I might be the worst college football fan in the country. Over the years, I have found a reason to hate almost every single team. On the bright side, it has given me the ability to enjoy almost every game, because I get pleasure from watching teams I hate lose.

I don't like either of these teams. Charlie Strong is a 'Horn and looked like a moron wearing the golden hat that time he beat us. TT threw tortillas at me, interrupted J.D. Runnels during a post-game interview, and paid the refs to screw us out of a game.

You see how this works? Every time either team scores, I enjoy the other team suffering.

...me neither! Hope all the Big 12 teams win, but am not emotionally involved with rooting for them just because they're in a conference with Oklahoma.

I pull for the Big 12, except Texas. I'm funny, I watch a ton of games and usually pull for the underdogs.

Tulsa is my second favorite team. Lot's of Oklahoma second level high school players on most of their teams.

BTW, I was on the Tulsa message board today and it looks like some fans are getting a hot seat for HC Philip Montgomery, the ex-Baylor OC . 2 wins this year. Todd Graham is available and some want to bring him back.

Folks, that was a goal line stand by TT. That's unicorn territory there. I don't think I've ever heard goal line stand and TT in the same sentence.

Canada maybe.

BTW, did you see where the WWE guy sold off 100 mil of his stock and is thinking about resurrecting the XFL because of NFL protests?

...my Black Knights are up next facing San Diego St.

Army's the nation's leading rushing team and San Diego St is the nation's 8th best run defense. S. D. St's had 3 weeks to prepare. Good old fashioned mano y mano slobber-knocking football game.

Mack Brown was annoying as heck as a *Texsa coach, but I like him as a color commentator. He's really good at this.

+1. But there are many that think the opposite in that it is generally thought that the big uglies on both sides of the ball have the most difficulty staying sharp.

+1. But there are many that think the opposite in that it is generally thought that the big uglies on both sides of the ball have the most difficulty staying sharp with a long layoff. And most think that impacts traditional offenses more so than spread offenses that focus on the skilled positions.
