He keeps getting better and better.
He was disruptive on a lot of plays last night, but the play where he got the unassisted sack was awesome.

Between Lampkin, the fresh start at corners, and the return of Gallimore, the rest of the season is really starting to look up.

When Clint gets happy, I get worried.

And we can all thank Ruffin for his improvement this year. He's the coach that finally got through to him and motivated him.

Was it just me, or did he look like Tommie Harris when he did that bull rush? And again, when he came off that block on their first run of the second half and just creamed the TCU RB. It was a great thing to see.

He's only going to get better. His game shape has improved, but still he's not exactly where the coaches want him with that. His technique is improving, a good example was the bull rush and he had his pads below the center's. It's still not perfect, but he's improving every week.

If that bull rush sack wasn't perfect, I don't know what they want!

I probably should have worded that better. I was talking about his overall technique that isn't perfect just yet. That play is exactly what you want from a technique standpoint. I think when he gets tired, there are some gaps in his technique.

Ahhh...should have guessed what you meant. Yeah, his game conditioning is getting better, and he's getting more consistent because of it. Plus, he's just getting more and more experience against all the different types of looks he's seeing. I remember thinking that Tommie Harris could control a game on defense with very few tackles or sacks just because he took 2 or 3 guys to stop him allowing others to wreak havoc. I'm hoping Lampkin gets that same skill set and attitude, but those are BIG shoes to fill.
