Flosoftball starts the hot 100 on 2020's on Monday. Will do 10 a day Monday through Friday starting with 100-91. They also said somewhere around signing day in november they'll do their last rankings of the 2018's. So that will be our incoming class of Brooke Vestal, Grace Lyons, Grace Green, Audrie LaValley, and Sami Skelly.

The hot 100 is staring the 18th. Either they moved it back or I read it wrong. So we have another week.

They said that they had received so much feedback on the players that it was going to take another week to analyze it so they moved back the top 100 by a week

Yeah they are getting a lot more data to deal with now. I'd be surprised if Jayda Coleman drops from 1. Also from the praise Tiare Jennings is been getting I think she has a chance to get into top 10. I'd also be surprise if Puni or May fall out of top 10. I'm a little worried about Paige Knights ranking because of Tulsa Elite not going to PGF's and competition is one of their criteria's. Not sure what to guess on Noury. She was the starting shortstop for Mercado-Athletics who got beat in the finals in the PGF's but she did split time. Wouldn't surprise me to see a little drop but I wouldn't think it would be signifigant.

But this is all pure guesswork from me. Still one hell of a class no matter what.

I think OU has 4 in the top 10 in next iteration -- Coleman, Puni, May and Jennings.

I was at the Tulane game this weekend and the softball team was out in full force. They had a ton of recruits there, maybe as many as 20. Some of them were very young, pretty sure they weren't in high school yet. When can they start making unofficial visits?

There was a girl there about 5'-11" wearing a white jersey with blue letters and the name Coleman on the back. I think it was #10. She looks like an athlete. I'd be shocked if it wasn't Jayda.

My son was taking pictures of the softball team for my daughter. I'll see if he got any face shots of the recruits. They were all standing on the field during warmups and faced away from us most of the time.

I'm sure the recruits Twitter accounts were blowing up this weekend. Everybody was getting individual pictures with players and coaches.

Just by looking I can tell you who a few of them are. Jayda Coleman(2020 #1), Zaida Puni (2020 #2), No 100 percent but i think the girl in the middle is Alexx Waitman(#5 2021), Quincee Lilio(#1 2021), Kinzie Hansen(#1 2019), I think lower left is Turiya Coleman(#21 2021), i think lower middle might be Alycia Flores(#66 2019), I think the tall girl in the back might be Nicole May(#9 2020) but I'm not sure on that one. I think the girl in front right is Tiare Jennings(#17 2020). So I'm missing the girl back row 3rd down in red shirt who looks really familiar and front row in Sooners 10 jersey who also looks familiar.

So not bad only 3 #1 players, a #2 player, a #5, #9, #17, #21, and #66. Those girls could play some teams and put a beat down on them.

Ok I think the girl back row red shirt is Alanna Thiede(#65 2019), and the girl in the 10 jersey, another guess but I think it might be Macy McAdoo(#59 2019). And I've been following this way to close to know all of that. lol

I'm surprised Bre Warren came in at #98. I would have her in my Top 50.

So I think we have it figured out Back Row L to R.

Jayda Coleman, Zaida Puni, Alanna Thiede, Alexx Waitman, Qunicee Lilio, Macy McAdoo, Kinzie Hansen

Front row L to R.

Turiya Coleman, Alycia Flores, Destinee Noury, Tiare Jennings.

Very talented group right there. And we are missing some other talented recruits in Nicole May, Paige Knight, Olivia Raines, Rylie Boone, and Raylee Pogue.

The thing that sucks with having the top ranked players is that we have to wait until the end to see our recruits.

Our first Oklahoma commit.

41 | Destinee Noury, MIF | OC Batbusters - Stith (Oklahoma)null
Noury has one of the strongest arms in the country and coaches say she does everything well. She was a key cog on the So Cal A's-Mercado team that finished second at the 16U PGF Nationals this year before leaving the team for the OC Batbusters. Batbusters coach Mike Stith says Noury has all the natural tools that make a great infielder. Noury has good size and is strong in her fundamentals. She has an excellent technical swing and is a smart player who is always thinking two or three steps ahead, be it on defense or at the plate. Noury has shined at nationally prestigious camps such as the OnDeck West Coast Elite Camp, where Derek Allister of OnDeck praised her for her "sophisticated level of play" and "poise and athleticism." She's one of six Oklahoma commits in the 2020 class so far.

I figured she and Paige Knight would be the two commits who would fall out of the top 26.

I believe we will have 4 in the top ten with Tiare Jennings joining May. Puni, and Coleman in that group of 10.

So.  She fell from 16 to 41?  Wonder if it was a fall, or they just found that a lot of the unknowns were better than they had thought.

They said there would be a lot of movement with players moving up and dropping. Noury split some time at shortstop with 2019 UCLA commit Curo. That being said Athletics-Mercado is so loaded that players on their bench would start on most other teams. Noury is one of the best defensive short stops in the class. I haven't seen her hit enough to know how good she is with the bat. I'd say the drop is from having to split time but its only because the team is loaded. Also the girl she's splitting time with is a year older than her. This team also has Kinzie Hansen and Quincee Lilio. They Also have Alexx Waitman on the younger team. So the talent pipeline is top of the line. I think all the girls playing this organization will come in very prepared for the next level.
