Guess we'll find out if this guy is able to call his shot like Joe Namath in Super Bowl III, or is just a blustering fool like Steve "Not in Our House" Taylor...
Bears LB guarantees victory over OU or Texas
Bears senior linebacker Antonio Johnson is not shy about touting which direction he believes the Baylor program is heading.
In fact, Monday, he guaranteed the Bears would defeat OU and/or Texas. This season.
Baylor plays the Sooners on Nov. 20 in Waco.

I didn't think Colorado would beat us three years ago either, but they did.

Correct - all it takes is us making mistakes, giving up big plays at key times ,etc. There's no way BYU should have won last year - they were down to about their 6th or so DBs. We should have gone up and down the field on those guys. However, Sam gets hurt........Last edited on Tue Jul 27th, 2010 03:00 pm by SoonerinDallas

Baylor has never beaten OU in football, even when Blake was coach.
We all know that it will happen someday, but unless we have another disasterous injury year and they manage to keep their QB healthy, I don't see it happening this year.

Boulder is just a very weird place for the Sooners. The 2004 game proved that. OU should have destroyed them, but they didn't.

You guys think that little article won't be hung in the locker room and looked at every day, they, like A&M have a one man defense and a one man offense with plenty of inexperience spread around the rest of the field on both sides of the ball. I wonder how his coaches feel about that little statement.
Cheers

OU won't have to worry about it after Baylor beats the horns. He did say OU OR UT.

I dunno if smack talk from Baylor can really get players fired up.

| I always thought it was Broderick Thomas who guaranteed it in 86.

It will be a good game to watch. Colt McCoy was a special QB and it is going to be difficult to repeat his act.

Yep, in actuality it was Thomas that made the "This is our house, and only we have the key" statement that year. But Taylor followed it up with, ""The flat out truth is, Oklahoma can't play with us. The Sooners aren't good enough. It might not even be close, and I mean that."

| Should we mail Nebraska's key back to them since we won't see them again? That might be sorta fun. Start a thing where people gather up old keys they don't need anymore and send them to Dr. Tom. Maybe someone should call this in to the sports animal with an idea.. lol
